A great place to stay.! We were up in Thirsk for two nights and wanted a great location to access a few different places in the area. We were greeted with a wonderfully warm welcome. The rooms are spotless and I mean spotless.! It was lovely and warm the WiFi worked a treat too. The rooms are nicely decorated and it has a cosy and comfortable feel. It’s only a 5 minute walk to the train station which was handy as we went into York one day. It’s only a few minutes by car to the centre of Thirsk and there are plenty of places to eat and shops. We walked to the Vale of York pub one evening for dinner which is less than 5 minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend staying here not only for its location but for our wonderful hosts and the lovely accommodation. Thank you and hope to see you again. Rooms: The rooms were nicely decorated and very very clean and comfortable. Walkability: There’s a small shop down the road which is easy to walk to.

Room was lovely and clean with everything we could have needed. Andrea and Darren are lovely friendly hosts who provided good food and service. They went above and beyond to cater to my dietary needs. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Myself and my family stay here every year for the races. The rooms are beautiful and are kept immaculate. Equipped with everything you could need The breakfast is cooked to order and taste amazing. The b and b is a short walk to the race course and a short drive into thirsk. They will do anything for you and are the perfect hosts. See you next year. Carol and Tina x

Stayed for 2 nights with a friend while visiting family. Lovely apartment, very clean, everything you could need. Andrea was very helpful, suggesting places to eat for my coeliacs.Comfy beds, lovely shower. Would stay again.

Just had a brilliant week staying at Linden Tree. Perfect accommodation for our week of adventures in Yorkshire. The apartment/chalet was very clean and served our needs very well. Spotlessly clean, very comfy, great internet, 2 TVs, small kitchen area that had everything we needed. The owners Andrea and Darren were very friendly and helpful. We did our own breakfast but I believe Andrea’s breakfasts were excellent. The location is great for Yorkshire Moors and Dales, Ripon, Thirsk etc. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Stayed here for a 4 day break ...we'd. Sunday clean comfortable as a Base for travelling round north Yorkshire. Host were very freindly breakfast we had on Sunday only was cooked very nicely. Very good value for money good parking pets allowed .all you need in rooms 2 do self catering but eating in thirsk was easy 5 mins in taxi only 5 pounds ..hopefully return for races next year ..

My partner and I recently enjoyed a 4 night stay at the Linden Tree apartments and chose the bed and breakfast option. Excellent breakfasts cooked by Darren and served by Andrea, who were also great hosts. Apartment was lovely and clean with very comfortable bed and good size kitchen. It felt like a home-from-home! Local pubs supplied good food and railway station nearby - convenient for trip to York! Really enjoyed our stay and will return again.

Pictures don't do this place justice. For a bed and breakfast, the space, facilities and cleanliness are really very good. Andrea was very welcoming and showed us to our apartment and helped us find a good taxi service. Would definitely stay again. Also, I would seriously recommend a visit to the nearby Vale of York pub. Unbelievable drink prices, clean, modern appearance with games room and adequate menu also with great prices. Friendly staff and locals.
