I hired a 6 berth campervan for a long weekend. Brilliant service from start to finish, all of the staff were very helpful and pleasant. I received a full and comprehensive handover of the vehicle prior to setting off so was able to operate it without a problem. The on hire and off hire process was simple and efficient and the damage deposit was refunded almost immediately. The van was immaculate and in first class condition. I would definitely use again.

Every year we hire a van from Practical at busby stoop to drive down to the Isle of Wight and every year we have excellent service. Same great service this year as with a long wheel based Ford Transit, as always a very clean very low mileage vehicle at a very reasonable price. The staff are always helpful and will to go that extra mile to make sure there Service is the best it can be. There cars and vans are always clean and tidy. The prices are always at a good rate and all transactions are smooth and easy. Would highly recommend!

Be careful renting here .Got charged £75 for small scratch not even a centimeter. If you do rent make sure there are no even small marks that they say don’t matter because when you bring it back they make up a price and your stuck with it and threaten to charge you for a full front bumper respray if you question it. In all my years of renting cars never had this experience.

A very professional and helpful team. The van was almost brand new so in immaculate condition - great to drive and simple tail lift system to operate. Outstanding value for money. Practical Car Hire are a friendly, efficient company with excellent vehicles. The VW Golf was my upgrade due to high demand. I was really pleased and given a discount as hired over 3 days. They look after regular customers! I highly recommend them whenever you need a hire car. Straightforward, no worries, no hidden costs. Car was thoroughly checked before I started, any tiny marks noted. All I had to do was return it full of fuel. This is easy as the mileage costs were extremely low despite enjoying a welcome blast down the motorway.Excellent customer service and care and enjoyable driving experience.

Straightforward all round. Good service, including pick-up from and drop-off to Thirsk station, no-nonsense approach to checking the car out and back in again. Very convenient to have the depot at a petrol station, so no last-minute search for a fill-up. Would happily recommend.
