Was really looking forward to trying this restaurant tonight but unfortunately me and my husband were really disappointed. We both had a prawn cocktail which wasn’t very nice my husband only ate the prawns and left the rest. For our mains we had ordered fajitas and fish and chips.I must admit it was probably the worst fish & chips I have ever had the fish didn’t taste of anything at all it had a slimy texture and the batter also tasted really greasy. The fajitas were very bland too. The meals we had tonight Really wasn’t worth what we had paid therefore as stated above we are both really disappointed 👎🏼 extremely pricey for what it is

Amazing food and very friendly staff. Dog-friendly but booking recommended. We enjoyed our food and drinks but we were seated near to a large family group who were very loud and spoiled the atmosphere a bit.

Had the 1.4 kg tomohawk and it was phenomenal. Melt in the mouth. It has ruined other steaks for me. Would definitely recommend, well worth the price.

Nice place, but you would need a 4x4 mentality to get to it to avoid the hundreds of potholes! Carvery was good with self service vegetables. Best to ask for a hot plate if coming early. There’s table service for delish desserts if you have any space! Seating inside and outside very calming along with the Koi Carp. Kids bouncy castle was a plus and would recommend dark socks! Safety flooring was an excellent idea.

We've been here a few times over the years, when stopping at the nearby lodges at Woodland Lake Lodges. It's always been a good experience and tonight's visit was good also. Kids had margarita pizza 🍕 (crust shaped with bulls horns 😈) tomato 🍅 sauce was plenty under a yummy cheese topping. One of the kids had spaghetti 🍝 bolognese and ate the lot! She really enjoyed it. The adults had double cheese Burger 🍔 that came with fries 🍟 and hunters chicken that came with fries 🍟. All very tasty and filling. The staff were really friendly and service was quick 🙂 There was a play area just outside that is cordoned off so no escaping 👍 Bouncy castle was up also 🤩 The place itself was very clean and the kitchen had an open view. This place is a hidden Gem. They say it has the best beer garden in Yorkshire. But I would say one of the best in the Uk. The food was amazing and the Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful meal..cooked to perfection and served by lovely friendly staff. Head chef came out and spoke with customers...he wont be disappointed with the feedback. Definitely be back and definitely worth a visit!

What a lovely place service was great food was really tasty would definitely eat here again if I was in the area I have fished at woodlands many times but never visited the watermill we are staying in a log cabin so called in for our tea glad we did

Amazing place. Very reasonable prices, Food is fantastic. Sunday lunch (3 courses if you can manage it) was beautiful. Very friendly staff, we have been eating here for about 5 years and i must say the food now is the best it has been.
